Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to provide direct patient care in Bakersfield, CA, with travel to nearby areas as needed. You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to address each patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include facilitating admissions, advocating for patient safety, documenting changes promptly, and educating families on infusion therapy management and potential side effects.

Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills required.
• Current California Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation to travel between homes.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

The primary location for this position will be in Bakersfield, CA, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Bakersfield to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements
