Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated home infusion registered nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in the Santa Clara, CA area. The role emphasizes compassionate communication, privacy, and dignity while supporting patients in their homes.

You will assess patients, collaborate with physicians, manage infusion therapies, and educate families on treatment plans. Travel to clients within a one-to-two hour radius is required, with biweekly pay and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Current California Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

The primary location for this position will be in Santa Clara, CA, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Santa Clara to serve our clients.
