Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Home Infusion RN to provide specialized nursing care and case management in patient homes. Under Nursing Manager, you will coordinate care, assess patients, administer therapies, and educate patients and families for safe, high-quality infusion services.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, BLS, valid driver's license, and ability to travel. Oncology chemo/immunotherapy cert within 60 days is expected after hire.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Texas or eligibility via the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and automobile insurance; travel for home visits.
• Oncology Nursing Society/ONCC chemo/immunotherapy cert within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments in home infusion settings.
• Manage vascular access devices and monitor infusion therapy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy, safety, and adherence.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and document outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
