Job summary

Druid City Infusion, part of the Vital Care Infusion Services network, is seeking a Registered Nurse to support infusion therapies in home and clinic settings across Montana. You will assess, plan, and implement infusion care, including potential PICC procedures with proper qualifications, under the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities include education, physician follow-up, scheduling coordination with the pharmacy, and documenting patient outcomes in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate or bachelor’s degree).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clinical experience in healthcare, preferably infusion therapy.
• Availability to work flexible PRN hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and therapies following aseptic protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab testing.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EHR.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapies, side effects, and self-care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
• Provide support in emergency situations using sound clinical judgment.
