Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Scranton, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem, part-time, or full-time work on our home health visit team. You’ll deliver skilled nursing and rehabilitative care in clients’ homes, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to help clients stay at home.

The role emphasizes independent clinical decision-making, strong assessment skills, and adaptability to varied home environments. Flexible schedules and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on medical experience with adult/geriatric populations in clinical or home health settings
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Use head-to-toe assessment skills to identify changes in patient condition
• Provide acute and post-acute care in the home (CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post-surgical care)
• Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting
• Perform medication reconciliation, teaching, and safety monitoring
• Perform comprehensive wound assessment, care, and documentation
