Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an RN to provide in-home patient care under a prescribed plan of care, delivering comfort and dignity to clients across West Virginia. The role supports a 1:1 care model with flexible scheduling options and thoughtfulness to work-life balance.

The position requires an RN license in the corresponding state, an associate nursing degree, and CPR/BLS certification. A sign-on bonus of 10k and daily pay options are highlighted in the description.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in the state where the position is located.
• Associate degree in Nursing (AND) or AAS required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation to care sites/work locations.
• Trach/ventilation experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the plan of care and nursing scope of practice.
• Assess and document patient conditions; report changes (vital signs, etc.).
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV fluids; document thoroughly.
• Inspect wounds, change dressings, assist with personal hygiene.
• Assess for injuries, infections, bedsores, and deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and other health professionals to ensure outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care (and nursing scope of practice) while closely monitoring progress/recovery.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes as needed (vitals, blood/stool/urine, glucose, etc.)
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids; documenting thoroughly.
• Inspect and care for wounds, changing dressings and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Assess patient for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc. and deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing (AND) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state associated with this position
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
• Practical Trach And/or Ventilator Experience Preferred, Not Required
