Beartooth Billings Clinic in Red Lodge, MT is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Home Care & Hospice. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on direct and indirect client care in patients' homes, coordinating with the Home Care/Hospice Manager and RN Case Managers.

You will assess needs, manage care plans, and support Home Care Aides, with emphasis on safe, quality care across settings, including long-term care facilities or acute care as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Montana RN Licensure, or eligible.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current Montana driver’s license and the ability to be insured to operate motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate management of clinical activities of patients during the assigned shift to deliver optimum quality of care.
• Direct Home Care Aides in performance of their duties.
• Nurses visiting the patient will give reports on changes in condition and needs in the plan of care.
• Maintain professional conduct and be adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.

RN Home Care & Hospice

Reports to: Home Care/Hospice Manager

Purpose and Scope of Position

This position is responsible for providing direct and indirect client care services primarily delivered on an intermittent basis primarily in the client’s place of residence. In the case of Hospice, care may be delivered in a long-term care facility or in an acute care facility. This position also directs Home Care Aides in performance of their duties. The primary responsibilities of the Homecare/Hospice RN are to coordinate the management of clinical activities of the patients during the assigned shift so that optimum quality of patient care is delivered at minimum cost. Each patient is assigned to an RN Case Manager who is responsible for implementation and updates of the plan of care. Nurses visiting the patient will give verbal or written reports on changes in the patient’s condition and need for changes in the plan of care.
