Beartooth Billings Clinic is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Home Care & Hospice in Red Lodge, MT. The role provides direct and intermittent client care in home settings with supervision under the Home Care/Hospice Manager.

The RN will coordinate clinical activities, guide Home Care Aides, and ensure the plan of care is followed across shifts. Requires Montana RN licensure, CPR, and at least one year of nursing experience; full-time, non-exempt position.

Reports to: Home Care/Hospice Manager

Purpose and Scope of Position

This position is responsible for providing direct and indirect client care services primarily delivered on an intermittent basis primarily in the client’s place of residence. In the case of Hospice, care may be delivered in a long-term care facility or in an acute care facility. This position also directs Home Care Aides in performance of their duties. The primary responsibilities of the Homecare/Hospice RN are to coordinate the management of clinical activities of the patients during the assigned shift so that optimum quality of patient care is delivered at minimum cost. Each patient is assigned to an RN Case Manager who is responsible for implementation and updates of the plan of care. Nurses visiting the patient will give verbal or written reports on changes in the patient’s condition and need for changes in the plan of care.
