Job summary

LifeWorks Wellness Center in Clearwater, FL is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role carries responsibility for maintaining a sterile, safe environment and delivering treatments exactly per protocol.

You will support chronically ill patients with compassion, educate about care plans, and ensure accurate documentation and patient safety. The ideal candidate has ICU/ER experience, phlebotomy proficiency, ACLS, and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year ICU or ER experience.
• Phlebotomy proficiency required; ports/PICC lines experience preferred.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Conscious sedation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile treatment environment and follow protocols.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and adherence.
• Initiate therapies per clinical protocols.
• Prepare for patient volume and ensure efficiency.
• Set up equipment, maintain sanitation and cleanup.
• Keep patient consents and treatment plans current.
• Deliver accurate treatments with safety and precision.
• Monitor patients and respond to emergencies.
• Communicate scheduling/clinical issues to Medical Director.
• Document patient encounters and treatments accurately.
• Follow hazardous materials and safety regulations.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with laws.
