Job summary

Proactive MD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our health-center setting. The RN will document findings, support providers, and follow evidence-based nursing practices, while engaging patients and families with compassionate guidance.

Requirements include an active RN license, accredited nursing education, and current BLS certification. Outpatient clinic experience and regulatory knowledge are highly valued; this role is PRN and on-site at our

Qualifications

• RN with a current nursing license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• 1+ year of clinic nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and state/federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete patient assessments, including vital signs and pre-exam procedures.
• Document data and assessments in the patient record; use EMR as needed.
• Assist providers in consultations, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Implement medical regimens and nursing interventions per setting and skills.
• Provide patient counseling and education to families and caregivers.
• Manage medication reconciliation, inventory, and education.
• Operate medical equipment and maintain supplies; ensure compliance with OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA.
• Triage calls for urgent appointments and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain general office duties and provide excellent customer service.
