Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona’s Progressive Care unit is a high-acuity 24-bed unit that provides advanced monitoring and comprehensive nursing care. RNs coordinate care across the patient and family, lead education initiatives, and ensure smooth transitions within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Current RN license and BLS are required; ACLS within 90 days; BSN/MSN preferred; flexible hours including nights and weekends; opportunity for professional growth and TN sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN start date and BSN/MSN preferred.
• Current RN license by state requirements; BLS competency.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire; flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care; educate patients and families.
• Support professional nursing practice across settings and care transitions.
• Lead through preceptor roles and quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, critical thinking; participate in committees.
