Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona's Progressive Care Unit is a high-acuity 24-bed unit providing specialized care with advanced monitoring across diverse populations. The RN on this unit delivers direct patient care, educates patients and families, and coordinates transitions of care with a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS eligibility, and flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency required.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Computerized EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Provide leadership within the Nursing Professional Practice Model and participate in quality improvement.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, acuity, and resource availability.
