Baylor Scott & White Health's Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join hematology/oncology units. Shift: 6:45am–7:15pm, three 12-hour shifts per week; exact days discussed in interview.

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• 2+ years RN experience with oncology preferred.
• RN license and BLS certification (within 30 days of start).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to hematology/oncology patients and maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans.
• Monitor patient safety, document care, and respond to changes in clinical status.

Our Oncology units are fast paced units that include high acuitypatients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Oncology leadership team fosters an environment that supportslearning, mentoring, and building each team member.

Patient Population: Bone Marrow Transplant recipients,Oncology Critically Ill (ICU),Oncology Telemetry,Chimeric Antigen T-Cells (CAR-T) recipients, andPhase One or High Acuity Research trial patients

Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Day shift and 1:5 for Night shift

Number of Beds: 24-bed, single patient rooms

Dedicated to celebrating and supporting each other and our patients, our Oncology Units have Pharmacists located in the unit to partner with nurses in patient care, a dedicated Palliative Care Team, a Multidisciplinary Team that works together and Manager & Supervisor here to support and encourage your growth.

Required Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• 2+ years of experience as a RN
• RN Oncology experience highly preferred
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
