Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, Dallas, TX, is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for our Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology units. This full-time night position offers 12-hour shifts and a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients.

Join a team with on-site pharmacists, palliative care, and a strong nursing leadership presence. We provide relocation assistance for eligible candidates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience.
• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient care and outcomes.
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Bone Marrow Transplant Opportunities for RNs with ICU experience

Shift

• FT NIGHTS (3, 12 Hour shift per week)
• 6:45pm CST - 7:15am CST
• Our Oncology units are fast paced units that include high acuitypatients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Oncology leadership team fosters an environment that supportslearning, mentoring, and building each team member.
• Patient Population: Bone Marrow Transplant recipients,Oncology Critically Ill (ICU),Oncology Telemetry,Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cells (CAR-T) recipients, andPhase One or High Acuity Research trial patients
• Patient Ratios:1:3for Day shift and 1:4for Night shift and 1:2 ICU
• Number of Beds: 24-bed, single patient rooms

Dedicated to celebrating and supporting each other and our patients, our Oncology Units have Pharmacists located in the unit to partner with nurses in patient care, a dedicated Palliative Care Team, a Multidisciplinary Team that works together and Manager & Supervisor here to support and encourage your growth.
