Job summary

MEDIKO is seeking a Health Services Administrator to oversee healthcare operations within a correctional facility. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, compliant care while managing staff and coordinating operations across the facility.

You will work closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvements in patient care, resource use, and performance, ensuring regulatory alignment and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field is required.
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required (AHA/ARC guidelines) if role is in a correctional facility.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Healthcare Management certification preferred (FACHE, CPHQ, CHC, etc.).
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies, improving patient care, and budgeting.
• Experience in strategic planning, project management, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with NCCHC, ACA, and healthcare standards in correctional settings is preferred.
• Progressive leadership in healthcare with 5–7 years, 3–5 in a leadership role is preferred.
