Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking a Health Coach to join an integrated health center team, supporting primary care services for employees and their families.

You will provide personalized one-on-one coaching and group programming to help clients manage chronic conditions, prevent disease, and improve overall health, collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver evidence-based coaching and patient support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health science, counseling, psychology, nutrition, social work or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Completion of NBHWC-approved coach preparation course and certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to promote behavior change and wellness; develop personalized wellness plans and track progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to offer coaching based on national guidelines.
• Assist patients in scheduling medical appointments and internal referrals.
• Facilitate wellness programs, group challenges, workshops, and biometric screenings as part of population health strategy.
• Engage with clients at events and coordinate with vendors to inform about resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
