Job summary

Jobtailor in Mobile, AL seeks a licensed RN health coach to provide coaching and education focused on stress, anxiety, and depression, perform screenings, and develop personalized health improvement plans.

You will lead wellness activities, support clients in reaching health goals, collaborate with matrix partners, and mentor new staff, applying motivational interviewing and behavioral health expertise to drive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of experience in health coaching, health education and health promotion
• RN license active and unrestricted in the respective state with ability to maintain
• Compact license or additional state licenses may be required, with ability to maintain
• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification
• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Highspeed internet and quiet office space in committed location
• Dynamic presentation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Customer-centric focus
• Ability to proactively collaborate with the client and matrix partners
• Proven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skills
• Behavioral Health experience, including stress reduction is a bonus
• Chronic Disease Management experience is a bonus
• NBHWC certification is a bonus
• Motivational interview training/experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide customer coaching and support focused on stress, anxiety, depression and other challenges
• Perform stress, anxiety and depression screening
• Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities
• Refer customers to other Cigna Evernorth clinical programs or client-specific programs as clinically appropriate
• Establish health improvement plans and personalized evidence-based goals with customers
• Support customers in achieving health goals and overcoming barriers to better health
• Lead and support health and wellness promotional activities, including group coaching, wellness challenges and health-related seminars
• Utilize biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to improve clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with matrix partners to support the aligned client's health and wellness strategy
• Own clinical targets and outcome measurements
• Develop action plans that drive clinical value for customers and clients
• Perform additional responsibilities within the scope of certification or licensure
• Support training or mentorship of new employees as needed
