Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical-Surgical, full-time days, in-person. You will care for a mix of surgical and medical patients on a 44-bed 4N unit with a 6:1 patient ratio and dialysis/infusion services support.

Qualified candidates hold a BSN, current WV RN license, and must obtain BLS within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within six months. Strong teamwork and patient-focused care are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Our 4N department is a dynamic 44-bed medical-surgical unit where nurses manage a 6:1 patient ratio. Our patient population includes a blend of surgical and medical cases, with a special emphasis on renal care. The team here is known for its strong sense of collaboration, making 4N a welcoming and supportive environment, especially for new graduates eager to build their skills. Team members gain experience with a wide range of interventions, including various lines, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis, and telemetry patients. The Infusions Clinic operates Monday through Thursday as an outpatient center dedicated exclusively to infusion services, staffed solely by registered nurses. Our Dialysis Unit provides inpatient hemodialysis and is open 24 hours a day, six days a week, with on-call coverage each Sunday. Care is delivered by registered nurses with specialized expertise in dialysis.

What we're looking for

Requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
