Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift position in Hamilton. The RN will provide patient-centered care, assess and plan care with the team, and ensure safety and quality in diverse clinical settings at our main campus.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Ohio RN license and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current, valid RN license in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Hamilton) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing). None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted. Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency nursing experience is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area preferred.
