Job summary

Kettering Health Network in Troy, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. The RN delivers patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team across diverse clinical settings.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing degree (ADN or BSN) and an Ohio RN license, with BLS certification. Prior clinical nursing experience during schooling is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient assignments.
• Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary care teams.

• Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Required Work Experience:

• None required
• clinical experience during nursing program accepted.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
