Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Corpus Christi North is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical–surgical unit. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary planning and support discharge planning for post‑hospitalization needs.

Candidates must hold an active RN license (state or compact), current BLS, and ACLS certification within 90 days. Inpatient med‑surg experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Charge Nurses require ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care on the medical–surgical unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and post-hospitalization teaching.
• Assist in interdisciplinary planning and access community resources as needed.
