Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Corpus Christi is hiring a Registered Nurse. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, the RN delivers and supervises patient care, coordinates interdisciplinary planning, and teaches patients and families for post-hospital care.

Requirements include active RN licensure in the state or compact, and BLS; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days. Inpatient med-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of residence or a compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and resource access.
• Charge Nurse duties may be required with ACLS certification.
