Mercy Behavioral Health Services in Festus, MO is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for PRN shifts. You will apply the nursing process to provide care, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and ensure service standards are met.

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and must meet state board requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and substance use disorder. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
