Mercy Behavioral Health Services seeks a Behavioral Health RN - PRN at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments. This role requires accountability for the care provided and adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to treating psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and substance use disorders.

Formación

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and substance use disorder. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
