Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a flexible Registered Nurse for the ED under the Gig Nursing Program. You can work day or night shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements, and schedule 1–2 shifts per week. The role offers $40/hour base plus a variable shift incentive and W-2 employment.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited RN program.
• RN license in hiring state or compact license.
• Two years ED bedside RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in ED during assigned shifts.
• Assess patient needs and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with ED team and physicians.
• Maintain BLS/ACLS/PALS and documentation.

Overview

Are you seeking a flexible incentivized Registered Nurse position? Ability to pick up day shift OR night shift- whatever works best for you! No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, being flexible and subject to last minute shift cancellation. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.

Qualifications

• Required Education:Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Preferred Education: BSN
• Licensure: Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience:A minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN ED experience.
• Certifications:BLS, ACLS, & PALS
• Preferred Experience: Epic experience
