Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department under the Gig Nursing Program. Pick up day or night shifts with no weekend, holiday, or fixed shift requirements.

You must commit to scheduling a minimum number of hours and be available on short notice, with the program subject to last-minute cancellations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Minimum two years of recent bedside RN ED experience.

Overview

Are you seeking a flexible incentivized Registered Nurse position? Ability to pick up day shift OR night shift- whatever works best for you! No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, being flexible and subject to last minute shift cancellation. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Preferred Education: BSN
• Licensure: Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN ED experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, & PALS
• Preferred Experience: Epic experience
