Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI is hiring a Registered Nurse for the GI/Pulmonary Lab SLMC. This full-time role is 36 hours per week, with 10 or 12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, start times between 05:30 and 08:00, and a 6‑week schedule.

On‑call is required and you must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital. You will care for adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting a range of endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• 2 Years of Med/Surg, ICU, ED or 1 year perioperative nursing experience

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
