Job summary

SSM Health in Wisconsin seeks a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy/ intraprocedural team at WI-St. Agnes Hospital. The role provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the health system.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Day Shift 0730-4p with on-call requirements; no prior experience required. Must hold valid BLS HCP and RN licensure in the appropriate state; on-site GI Lab work with multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Applies evidence-based practice and knowledge in health care to nursing practice for age-specific needs.
• Demonstrates professional nursing standards and ethics to respond to patient needs.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
