Job summary

The Suites at Someren Glen in Centennial, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the full-time day shift (5a-5p) in the Rehabilitation Neighborhood. The RN will plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate all aspects of resident care to meet total needs while adhering to state, federal laws and community policies.

Qualifications

• Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing.
• Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
• 1 year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must read, write and speak English well.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nursing staff, physician, pharmacist, family members on resident status.
• Listen to resident/family/physician concerns and report to appropriate personnel.
• Attend Resident Care conferences; maintain accurate care plans.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per physician orders; manage meds inventory.
• Document patient care issues and report as required.
• Recognize signs and symptoms and choose appropriate treatment or procedures.
• Oversee and direct ancillary personnel; initiate corrective action as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
