Job summary

Rockingham County, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee resident care and direct staff according to the unit plan of care. The role emphasizes safe, restorative and holistic well-being for residents, with documentation and adherence to state and federal requirements.

The RN will administer medications, transcribe orders, assess changes in condition, and communicate with the Unit Manager and Supervisors to address safety concerns and care priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of a state approved school of nursing and possess a valid NH RN license.
• Must possess leadership qualities and genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• Ability to work harmoniously with others and delegate authority wisely.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications/treatments and keep detailed documentation per Rockingham County policies and State/Federal requirements.
• Transcribe and carry out medical orders.
• Assess and identify changes in resident status and communicate with Unit Manager/Nursing Supervisors about significant issues.
• Maintain open communication with the care team to address safety concerns and care priorities.
