Freeman Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Geri Psych unit (inpatient) at Freeman East. This full-time night shift role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and supports care for the mentally ill population in a 42-bed adult unit and a 10-bed geriatric unit.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, planning and implementing interventions, and collaborating with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri registered nurse license or a compact license.
• If compact, license must be in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic assessment of physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs of psychiatric patients and families.
• Plan and implement interventions and evaluate effectiveness to ensure safe, quality care.
• Coordinate with medical team for plan of care and timely adjustments.
