Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Evening/Night shift in a secured unit with enhanced safety features. The unit cares for patients with acute psychiatric illnesses, including those with comorbidities, with ECT services available.

You will delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care to a designated group of patients, using the nursing process and contributing to quality improvement while upholding SMH’s mission and ethics.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois with current BLS/CPR certification.
• Psychiatric/acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to perform IV insertions and injections; strong patient care skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process.
• Delegate and supervise care; participate in quality improvement and research activities.
