Duke Health's General Surgery & Vascular Trauma Stepdown Unit at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks experienced RNs to provide high-quality, compassionate care to acutely ill patients and to join a fast-paced team focused on safety and patient advocacy.

BSN or higher, 1+ year nursing experience, NC RN license and BLS are required. Responsibilities include post-operative monitoring, wound/ostomy care, IVs, pain management, labs, telemetry, and coordinated patient education with families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required.
• Experienced Nurses: Previous work experience (1+ years) as a clinical nurse is required.
• All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within seven years of their start date
