Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, seeks an RN for General Surgery on a 3W inpatient unit. This part-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) position offers sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates. Location is Mercy Hospital South, 10010 Kennerly Rd, St.
Louis, MO 63128. The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Missouri RN licensure or compact licensure, and BLS certification. Prior hospital experience is preferred; BSN is a plus.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
This position is on a General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit. This is not an Operating Room (OR) role.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
