Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. You will perform systematic assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with the medical plan of care to ensure safe, effective care for patients and families.

Your responsibilities include timely care delivery, adherence to ACLS/BLS/Stroke scale requirements, and ongoing competency validation. Missouri or compact-state RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a Compact State.
• If no hospital experience or >5 years since last hospital work, complete PCO within 30 days.
• ACLS preferred; ASLS preferred but not required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 365 days.
• RN competency day annually by transcript date.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Medical Plan of Care, independently assesses physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Plans and implements interventions and evaluates effectiveness; adjusts the plan as indicated; delivers safe and effective care in a timely manner.

What You’ll Do In Conjunction With The Medical Plan Of Care, Independently Performs Systematic And Continuous Assessment Of The Physical, Emotional, Clinical, And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; Plans And Implements Appropriate Interventions; And Evaluates Effectiveness And Adjusts Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provision Of Safe And Effective Care.

Requirements Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Current Registered Nurse License From A Compact State. If A Compact License Is Held, It Must Be In the Nurse's State Of Residence. If No Experience As An RN Or LPN In A Hospital Setting Or It Has Been More Than 5 Years Since Last Worked In A Hospital Setting, Nurses Must Successfully Pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) Within 30 Days.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Preferred.
• ASLS Preferred, But Not Required.
