Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W unit. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with multiple departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality on night shift.

Experienced or new graduates are welcome. Full-time 36 hours/week, night shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses or up to $5,000 for new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the listed degrees.
• Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure as per state rules.
• Previous hospital experience preferred depending on unit.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain patient rights.
• Evaluate care provided by direct care givers and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional accountability in all duties.
• Support Mercy mission and standards in daily patient care activities.
