Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W inpatient unit on a night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). This full-time role supports patient care on a medical-surgical floor, not an OR position.

The RN will utilize the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care. A Missouri RN license or compact licensure is required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include ADN, diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold a Missouri RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness provided by other direct care givers.
