Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse for the General Progressive Care (PCU) unit to provide attentive, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population on a 25-bed unit.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and documenting outcomes. Current RN license and BLS are required; 1 year acute care experience preferred. Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification are required.
• One year of acute care hospital experience is preferred.
• Banner Registry/Travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care with the care team.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate activities across disciplines.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document care accurately and timely in the medical record.
