Job summary

Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN is seeking an RN for the Level 16 General Medical Unit. You will organize and provide care through the nursing process, lead a team of licensed personnel, and help meet the hospital’s mission and community needs.

The role requires MN RN licensure, BSN/ADN, and BCLS within one month. 0.7 FTE, day/night rotation, and every other weekend. Austerity benefits and incentives are available.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Minnesota nursing licensure.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide patient care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Lead a team and delegate care tasks to other licensed staff.
• Support facility mission and community served by Essentia Health.
• Meet Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
