Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an RN for the 4E General Medical Unit. This full-time role offers a day shift from 7:00am to 7:30pm, with every other weekend.

The position includes full-time benefits and opportunities for growth within a large integrated health system. You will perform patient assessment, coordinate care, communicate with the care team, provide patient and family teaching, and participate in quality improvement to ensure safe, effective nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Assesses patients and collects health data with families and care teams.
• Coordinates care plans to ensure safe, timely interventions.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and staff.
• Provides patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives in nursing practice.
• Maintains current nursing knowledge in practice standards and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
