Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an experienced RN for the 4E General Medical Unit. This full-time position offers a day shift from 7:00am to 7:30pm with every other weekend, totaling 36 hours per week. The hourly rate ranges from $37.25 to $57.74 depending on experience.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, and communicate clearly with patients and care teams. Illinois nursing licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required with active IL RN license.
• Assess patients and collect health data with families and providers.
• Coordinate care plans for safe, timely interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and teams.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance nursing practice.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
