Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in the Health Center and supervise nursing assistants during day shifts. The role requires a valid Florida RN license and CPR certification, with preference for long-term care experience.

The position is full-time, with a 7 AM–3 PM schedule, every other weekend and some holidays. Staff will review admissions, manage care plans, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Florida.
CPR certification required.
Experience in long-term care or med-surgical settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing assistants.
Manage admissions and discharges on the day shift.
Review labs, x-rays, and address identified issues.
Complete or verify daily skilled documentation for Med A residents.
Coordinate with MD/NP and other nursing staff as needed.
Support staffing and coverage on weekends and holidays.
