Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Days in the Cardiac PCU at our Jacksonville facility. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

The RN will provide comprehensive care using the nursing process, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with the care team. Required ASN or BA/BS with 1–2 years of Cardiac/Telemetry experience; BLS and RN license are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Education: ASN required or BA/BS preferred.
• 1–2 years Cardiac/Telemetry experience preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS required.
• Hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease and plan of care.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services and other departments.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital staff as needed.
• Act as patient advocate and participate in unit activities.
