Job summary

Luther Wood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hatboro, PA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will supervise CNAs, provide individualized nursing care, and support residents through admissions, transfers, and discharges while administering prescribed treatments and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explain procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients' cooperation and allay apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress of the patient.
• Maintain patient's medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Record nursing needs of patients on care plans to assure continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability of patients and prepare them for continued care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
