Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to support the Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Center in Provo, Utah. You will provide follow-up medical care, medication support, and nursing services to individuals with serious mental illness in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunities to float to other outpatient and residential programs as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college.
Current Utah RN license required. LPNs may be considered as an underfill.
Mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and document medications, assessing and responding to side effects or adverse reactions
Complete medical assessments, admission procedures, and thorough client progress documentation
Partner with psychiatrists, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered treatment plans
Coordinate medical appointments, medication assistance programs, and continuity-of-care needs for residential clients
Conduct urine screenings along with physical and mental health evaluations as clinically appropriate
Provide client education and facilitate groups on medication compliance, wellness, and healthy coping strategies
Serve as a liaison between clients, medical professionals, and community agencies to ensure clear, coordinated care
