Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to support the Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Center in Provo, Utah. The role involves follow-up medical care, medication support, and nursing services for individuals with severe mental illness and complex behavioral needs.

The position offers $23.03–$41.29/hour DOE and licensure, with opportunities to float to outpatient and residential programs as needed.

Qualifications

Requires Associate Degree in Nursing (AN), accredited college.
Current Utah RN license required; LPNs may be considered underfill.
Mental health experience preferred.
Must pass drug screen, motor vehicle record review, and criminal background check.
Must obtain Utah Office of Licensing BCI clearance after hire.
Official licensure documentation required upon conditional offer.
Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and document medications, assess side effects.
Perform medical assessments and admission procedures, document progress.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
Coordinate medical appointments and continuity of care for residential clients.
Conduct urine screenings and health evaluations as needed.
Provide patient education and facilitate groups on medications and coping strategies.
