Job summary

Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Float Team on a full-time, 12-hour evening shift (3:00 pm – 3:30 am). The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the health care team.

Requirements include a BSN or BS/BA in Nursing, active PA RN license, BLS and ACLS within orientation. Acute care experience preferred. The hospital offers comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license.
• Current BLS required. ACLS required or obtained by orientation if applicable to area of practice.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Communicate care plans and changes to the health care team.
• Complete admissions using a multi-system approach for assessment and reassessment.
• Participate in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
