Job summary
Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN provides total, comprehensive care and collaborates with the health care team to ensure safe and effective treatment.
The role requires current Pennsylvania RN license, a BSN/BA in Nursing, and BLS; ACLS as applicable. You will participate in admissions, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary rounds with weekend rotations and holiday requirements.
Qualifications
- BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing required.
- Current Pennsylvania state license as RN required.
- Current BLS required; ACLS required or obtained by orientation if applicable.
- Previous acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides total, comprehensive care to patients by applying the nursing process.
- Communicates plan of care and patient changes to the health care team.
- Completes admissions using a multi-system assessment approach.
- Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes thoroughly.
- Assesses patient risks and individualizes care plans.
- Participates in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
