Job summary

Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Team on a full-time basis. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and delegate tasks to the healthcare team according to hospital policy.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or BS/BA in Nursing with an active Pennsylvania RN license, current BLS, and ACLS if applicable to the area. Acute care experience is preferred, with weekend rotations and holiday requirements noted.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• Current BLS required. ACLS required or obtained by orientation if applicable to area of practice.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Communicate with the health care team regarding plan of care and changes in patient condition.
• Complete admissions per policy and document care thoroughly.
• Participate in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Manage pain, infection control, and end-of-life care as appropriate.
