Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool. You will deliver professional nursing care on Acute Inpatient Units across Medicine, Telemetry, Cardiac, Neuro-Stroke, Orthopedic and more, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Texas RN license, 1 year of RN experience (BSN preferred), BLS, and a willingness to join a supportive nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or BSN preferred.
• Current Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care for assigned patients on Acute Inpatient Units.
• Administer treatments, medications, and procedures within scope of practice.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary services.
• Delegate within scope of practice to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Incorporate AIDET service standards in all interactions.
• Access secure drug areas when performing duties.
